Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect: your name and contact details; information you provide in a grant application (such as your address, a description of your situation, the support you are seeking and, where relevant, household or financial information); donation details processed by our payment provider; sponsorship enquiry details; and any messages you send us.

Where you take part in photography, video or interviews, we collect the media and consent details described in our media consent process.

We use your information to assess and respond to grant applications, process donations, answer enquiries, administer sponsorships and, where you have given consent, to create charitable, educational and promotional content.

Bank account details are only requested where a grant application is approved and are used solely to provide the approved support.

We only use photographs, video, audio or stories of people we support where consent has been given. Consent can be withdrawn in writing at any time and applies to future use where reasonably practicable. We take particular care with people in vulnerable circumstances.

We take reasonable steps to ensure personal information and any recordings are stored securely and used only for authorised purposes, in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it where necessary to deliver support or run our services (for example with our payment provider) or where required by law.
